Israel Large, MD
I’m from El Paso, Texas, and I attended medical school at the Universidad Autónoma de
Guadalajara. I chose family medicine because I value the breadth of care it offers across all ages
and backgrounds. I chose Victoria because of its rural setting and the opportunity it gives me to
serve the people of Texas. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.

Amber Ludtke, DO
Dr. Amber Ludtke is a dedicated family medicine resident committed to providing holistic
patient care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baylor University and

healthcare addresses the physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing of each individual, she strives
to treat her patients with compassion and comprehensive understanding.
With experience as a home health attendant and nurse aide, Dr. Ludtke has developed a deep
appreciation for the diverse needs of patients. She has also participated in medical missions
both in rural Texas and internationally, aiming to serve underserved populations and improve
community health.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Ludtke is a proud mother of two young children. In her free
time, she enjoys quality time with her family, cooking, hiking, and caring for her pet lizard.

cherishes quality time with her two young children. She brings empathy, cultural awareness,
and a lifelong dedication to serving others in both clinical and community settings.

Hashir Murtaza, DO
I was born and raised right here in Texas. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from
the University of Texas at Austin, TX and pursued my medical education from the University of
the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine in San Antonio, TX. During medical school, I
recognized the importance of lifestyle modifications as a part of management and developed a
passion for preventative medicine. I hope to develop my skills here at DeTar Family Medicine to
become a caring physician with a holistic approach to patient care.
Aside from medicine, I enjoy gardening and building up a plant collection. I also aspire to be
able to cook a wide variety of dishes so I am always trying to cook up something new.

Neha Nadeem, MD
I was born in Lahore, Pakistan, and raised in Saudi Arabia. I later moved to Karachi, where I
completed my medical degree from Dow International Medical College. During medical school I
realized I wanted to pursue a specialty that allowed me to develop a long term relationship
with patients and be able to offer care to a wide range of patients- which led me to pursue
family medicine. I’m excited to spend the next three years in Victoria where I look forward to
growing as a family medicine physician.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and trying new food
places.

Rabia Shahid, MD
Dr. Rabia Shahid was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan. She earned her medical degree from
Fatima Jinnah Medical University in Lahore, followed by a one-year internship at Ganga Ram
Hospital, where she gained valuable clinical experience across a range of specialties. She chose
Family Medicine for its broad scope and focus on continuity of care, allowing her to build lasting
relationships with patients. She selected the residency program at DeTar Hospital for its strong
inpatient training and unopposed structure, which will help her become a well-rounded
physician. Her long-term goal is to pursue double board certification in Family Medicine and a
hospital-based subspecialty—combining her interests in both primary care and inpatient
medicine.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring new cuisines, reading, and knitting.

Kevin Thi, MD
Kevin was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin for his
undergraduate degree and his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. The full
spectrum of care a family physician can provide and the long-term relationships they developed
with their patients is what attracted him to family medicine. After spending most of his clinical
years in Florida, he is happy to be back in Texas for residency and to be closer to his family.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing basketball, and
cheering on his beloved Longhorns in basketball and football.
