Qualifications
All applicants must:

Be a U.S. Citizen or a permanent U.S. resident. Our residency program does not accept or sponsor visas of any kind.

Have graduated from medical school within the last 10 years and have recent clinical experience.

Medical School must be listed on the Texas Medical Board Schools whose graduates have demonstrated substantial equivalence of their education
- Have passed the USMLE Step 1 or COMLEX 1 exam, preferably on the first attempt, and provide documentation of having passed Level 2 prior to being ranked for a position in our program.

COMLEX Passing scores are accepted and considered equivalent to USMLE.

No more than one cumulative failure is permitted for eligibility.

Be proficient in spoken and written English language.

Have at least one year of U.S. clinical experience, defined as “supervised direct patient care” through research or observer-ship positions.
